In 2022, I collaborated with Promet Source on the redesign of the Council on Foundations website, modernizing the user experience.
Four years later, in 2026, I revisited the project to refine the information architecture and simplify the homepage experience. By streamlining the primary navigation and reducing the number of top-level links, the redesign created a more intuitive, focused, and user-friendly journey.

ViewTHE CHALLANGE
The Council's website serves multiple audiences, including foundation leaders, nonprofit professionals, policymakers, and prospective members. Over time, the site had accumulated a large volume of content, making it increasingly difficult for users to quickly discover resources, events, legal guidance, and membership benefits without overwhelming users with too many links and call to action buttons.
THE IMPROVEMENTS
The 2026 refresh focuses on creating a clearer content hierarchy, stronger storytelling, and more intentional pathways into the organization's most important offerings.
